Actually a smattering of active and trustworthy players with mod powers would be a pretty good idea, even if a true TWC was not reinstated.

Then again, I'm the type of person that thinks it's always better to have more mods if they're trustworthy, even if they aren't ABSOLUTELY needed.

So apparently, I'm a local mod for this forum now, too.

      Just an FYI.

Absolutely agreed, but good luck getting someone intelligent enough to follow your logic. Shash got unknowingly nominated because Tass thought he's been one of the super active players. Shash wasn't a horrible choice but he's also busy with other FFR obligations. Maybe someone who's better friends with Tass than I can get some of the active and trustworthy (and caring) TWGers the same local power he gave Shash. I'd personally nominate Iggy, Afro, kilga if he accepts, and myself, if not too many people see my less than lengthy tenure as a hindrance. Having one person that usually plays is nice, but a few more wouldn't hurt.

I would do it, but my validity as a TWG player has no weight on being a mod.

I think shash is ok for now. I mean he's swamped with tourny stuff now but otherwise as far as mods who play twg actively, he's a good choice.

It's not a matter of being a good player, it's a matter of the impression you give while you play. Certain people are more respectful, more mature, more caring, and more capable of handling certain things. That's why I feel you and the others are appropriate.

This is true. The thing that really matters is trustworthiness.

I would say a large majority of TWG players fit the bill there (probably due to the nature of the game, and the means by which we weed out less qualified players), especially for just local modship of only this forum.
