For me, TWG is just satisfying in multiple aspects. When you play a role and you make some sort of great power play; it's satisfying, when you're a wolf and you convince a group of people to kill someone who's a human; it's satisfying (more so if they are a role ), when you're one vote away from being insta'd and you argue your case and save yourself last minute; again..satisifying and etc etc. There's a lot of gratification, be it instant or prolonged, in a game of TWG.

Also, despite how I act under duress, I really like the intensity some games get taken to..even if it's aimed at myself. You can have a game that is just casually moving along and then BAM, someone spots something out of place and the game goes from 0-100 like that.

TWG appeals to me because it forces me to think in a way that I rarely do in real life. Also, I'm naive and scatterbrained, so a game that involves the analysis of player interactions to catch liars isn't up my alley. I like improving on my weak areas though, so tracking my growth through games has motivated me to keep playing.

TWG people are also pretty chill.

It's been a part of my life, on and off, for about 11 years now. That's a little under half my life essentially. It just appeals in a nostalgic sense now moreso than anything else.

Plus you guys are cool because you display genuine enthusiasm for the game and the community.
