2 things fiction: one, what are the Red Millers? And two, by Anonymous signups, do you mean that we won't even know just who's in the game at all? Or will there be a full player list, and we choose from there?

red millers do not know they are millers. Only I know they are millers.

Millers seer the color attributed to them. A red miller seers red but receives a human PM.

It's an anonymous game. There will be no player roster. At all. Ever.

anyone can reveal their identity but if I get a PM from someone matching the anonymous username to the player using it, that player will die.

Assassins in the palace

1 Assassin
1 King
10 Guards

The Assassin has one kill that they can use at any time during the game, typically after being lynched. Their goal is to identify the King so that they can use this kill against him. If the Assassin successfully kills the King, then they win, otherwise the King and Guards win. The Assassin doesn't need to survive to win.

This setup differs from normal mafia in that the "town" has more information than the "mafia" does. Every Guard that is lynched narrows the number of targets the Assassin must consider, so the challenge for the Guards is to find out who the Assassin is as quickly as possible without giving away the identity of the King.

The Guards know the identity of the King, but the King doesn't know who anyone else is.

I'd be down for this. Simple, straightforward, no freaky powers to trip people (newbies?) up. Also, this being TWG 100, this seems like a great time to reach out to the general community, get out of circlejerk mode. THIS IS A CELEBRATION PEOPLE

That's what I had in mind, but everyone else is agreeing that a more straightforward "usual" game should be in store the 100th.

Quite frankly, I don't give a damn what the 100th game is. I just want to play.

Would it be better if we had all the newbs be guards, and the king/assassin are vets? My first TWG I was chosen to be a wolf and I was stressed out as all hell.
