Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
Re: FFR Community Pack Autumn 2011 (Submissions Open)
Prayer Song (Sado) Heavy
- Good as an easier chart Yes Oni
- Handjacks at M42+ (Beat 164+) are tough.
- M49+ (Beat 192+) is the toughest part in the whole file. Hard to combo with all the jacks.
- Good layering and enjoyable to play, despite the difficulty spikes. Yes
My Half V2 (Torrent) Heavy
- Simplified enough. Yes Oni
- All the jacks and bursts make this file pretty much.
- Good for scoring, albeit long. Yes
Rinbu Revolution (Sargon) Standard
- Good Yes Heavy
- Good Yes Oni
- Jacks are the only thing this file has to offer. Without them would make this unbearably boring and lackluster. Yes
SHOOT! (Saki) Heavy
- Way too simplified in contrast to the Oni chart.
- Good otherwise. Yes Oni
- Jacks were nice.
- Well layered and enjoyable to some extent. Yes
VANESSA (rparty89) Heavy
- There's honestly not much of a difference between this and Oni. No Oni
- Jumpjack patterns are VERY uncomfortable to hit. A lot of the jacks are left hand focused.
- 48th rolls, absolutely NOT. Simplify.
- A lot of opportunity to layer in hand placements that you ignored.
- Picked up on some missing bass jumps. Probably not intentional either.
- Not bad but not up to par with file standards here. No
Futari no Manifest (Circle of the afternoon MIX) (bmah)
This file takes so long to load on the SM editor ahaha Easier Difficulties
Good Yes Heavy
- What did I just play Yes
Kaze no yo ni honoo no yo ni (Lynn)
- Beat 49.5, you should probably change this to something two hand oriented. This is way too difficult to hit properly.
- Great grace note usage
- Mines were nice too
- My only issue is whether ANYONE will sit through and play this. I don't see much replayability factor to this, with all honesty. Yes
Magia (Yamigenbu) Oni
- Those 12ths in the beginning aren't needed
- Holds can be trimmed much shorter in length
- Hand usages a lot of the time don't really emphasize anything significant in the song
- The huge downside to this file is that there is barely any layering shifts or changes. It's the exact same thing pretty much through the entire file which gets extremely boring to playthrough. I hate turning down files of this length but I have no choice. If you're going to step something this long, make it interesting and not boring. No
Savage (Yamigenbu) Oni
- Holds can be trimmed much shorter in length
- M38+ (Beat 146+) all those one handed oriented minijacks and patterns are really awkward.
- A lot of the 16th percussive elements are completely ignored which really irks me. They're prominent but you chose not to layer it.
- M66+ (Beat 261+) long [2] jack, absolutely not
- Same deal as Magia. There's absolutely no layring variation in this which makes this extremely dry and boring to playthrough, despite the difficulty factor of this. No
Venari Strigas (Yamigenbu) Oni
- Holds can be trimmed much shorter in length. Hold density makes reading very difficult and awkward.
- The jacks get very awkward and difficult to hit, especially in the later half when you start using 3-4 note long ones.
- Same deal as your other submissions. There's absolutely no layering variation to this; Same stuff being rinsed and repeated, which gets extremely dry and boring to playthrough, despite the difficulty factor of this. No
Pure Ruby (Einar) Oni
- The overall difficulty of this file is really inconsistent. The beginning measures are extremely underlayered in contrast to when the 24th streams kick which are extremely difficult to hit.
- It's one or the other. You either make an easy file or hard file. You're mixing two underlayered and overlayered elements which makes this file really unenjoyable to playthrough. No
Try And Follow Me (moches) Easier Difficulties
Good Yes Heavy
- Great as an easy xmod practice file. Boring file otherwise if played on cmod. Yes
PINK DREAM (BEAT CASTLE REMIX) (Condoct & Z18) Standard
- Personally, I would use 64th gallops as opposed to 24th. They're easier to time and don't disrupt flow as much when thrown into 16th stream.
- Layering transitions in this are iffy and detract from the file's flow
- Good otherwise Yes Heavy
- Personally, I would use 64th gallops as opposed to 24th. They're easier to time and don't disrupt flow as much when thrown into 16th stream.
- More emphasis on the piano chords would've made this file a lot more interesting, I find.
- M78+ (Beat 308+) jumps to layer the cymbal crashes would make a good addition to the layering.
- Good layering and jacks made this a little more enjoyable. Only downside is that this gets really long and lackluster to playthrough with each repeat in layering. Yes
Scattered Rose (Cloe) Standard
- Good Yes Heavy
- Layering is great and file's both enjoyable and fairly difficult for scoring. Yes
InfinitY Happy END (Einar)
- I have nothing to all the difficulties to this other than... No
Introduction (LongGone) Standard
- Cool Yes Heavy
- Cool Yes
Calamity Trigger (Loli Empress) Heavy
- Good Yes Oni
- Holds can be trimmed shorter in length
- Climactic and cool Yes
Sparrow Head Saki (Kommisar) Heavy
- Cool Yes Oni
- The layering in this is so ****ing clever Yes
