Re: Index Player Wanted to Test Simfile

    I'll try it right now

file's not bad. lots of 16th note crossovers which are paddable but usually not recommended for index. Once the beat picks up, you could've put jumps on the snare hits for flow. I'd start by fixing some of the 16th patterns though.

I think aside from duplica you're the only one to have posted index files here in a while lol

Well of course index isn't fun if you are bad at it. =)

I don't feel like getting out my laptop for stepmania, but assuming the file is under 270 bpm 16ths without absurd crossovers, jumpstream, tripples or quads it is most likely Triple Aable.

Re: Index Player Wanted to Test Simfile

Oh mah god, I feel like jello.

Thanks for the response and constructive criticism. About the crossovers, you gotta be hardcore index to do them. Try playing stratofortress from ckmp packs. They have crossovers too, even though it's an index file. But yea, I'm definitely trying with the patterns. I wanted to do this song because of the beat, but the begining was too long. I honestly never know what to step, so if you guys have suggestions, I would love to get some more done. I do step with different patterns too, I like to make it match the song well.

Any suggestions for songs? Oh, super freak, you didn't do that on index. I think I'd sh** bricks if that was index. Not that it isn't possible, but damn..

Edit: It's synced ok right? That BPM gradual change was a bi***

Edit 2: Interesting Cmod rushy, C565? Kinda slow, but it makes sense for index. I was stuck on C550 for like 4 months before switching to C600. I use C650 now, and highest I'll probably get comfortable with is C675, maaaybe C700.

We are to have a match soon. It's been a long time since an index player had MA like that. I do admit, my MA isn't what it used to be. I think it plummeted sometime when I became admin and started to not have a life on the server lol

Out of curiousity, have you ever played Uber Rave (JOE created the chart) I think)? If so, what's your best score? Mine is 50p AAA, I haven't attempted better since then. My Ageha AAA was like 40 something, idk.

                    Seriously, we gotta play soon!

I've played I believe 3 different versions of Uber Rave, most likely not JOE's chart. You can send it to me if you'd like and I'll see what I can get on it.

I have not played index for a years. I once FCed vertex beta(ffr) on index back then.

                          Yup.

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

Also, when I downloaded it I found a read me I never noticed. JOE wrote it himself, it's pretty good. He made it a spread and index friendly file (read the text file). I can see now why it's so commonly played by each style for people learning to MA. I'm surprised you haven't played it. But you probably have, just not thinking of it as JOE.

Apparently he made it on Bemanistyle.

Definitely synced, but there were a few tricky crossovers (either I just can't hit them or they're actually gay), and it kinda dragged on.

Throw some more variation in there.

Can probably do better, considering this file is very similar to the famous pad file.
