Open up goldwave, select 8 bars. Calculate the length. Then 60/[Length / 8] = tempo for those 8 bars.

After that, I make manual adjustments for wavering inside those bars, I just remember that if I increase it at one point I should decrease it appropriately later, etc...

I started trying to do that for some piano files, but it was mind numbingly boring and it was only barely MAable.

Great file, great song, it is amazing how much better you got in your last 3-4 sims even when you were good before.

I said I'd probably stop just because I can't really find any more songs I think are worth stepping. However, there is a tstewart song I'm looking in to that I might work on after finals... but don't get your hopes up.
