Here it is:

Ok... I made this for mainly two reasons A) I wanted to do something more mainstream (power/heavy metal being muuch more mainstream than idm) and B) I hated duk's file for this. Parts of his are just... wrong. Not saying all my notes are perfect... when you're dealing with guitarists doing crazy solos stuff isn't exactly going to go to a metronome, but my file plays fine at 1.0 music. I started messing around with the drum solo and then stopped as soon as it stopped being sixteenths and started being thiry-second pickups into sixteenth patterns that ended in weird places. So I just stepped the snare. Graphics are stolen from free wallpapers and then editted in mspain as usual. This file should be totally indexable... yeah you might have to double step once in a while or hit a double in a twelfth run but I'm sure you can handle it. It really is good people... download and then comment.Comment

I downloaded all of your simfiles in this thread, and I noticed you have a very distinct style. That is to repeat the same arrow patterns when the melody's pitch repeats. It is a nice style, and the simfiles are very good, but there's flaws in the simfiles that seriously drag them down. That is because normal errors that would normally be overlooked or just disregarded are magnified when you step songs like that. I'll give you some for instances, and I used Beyond Abilities because it had a handful of these flaws.

During that freeze, you can easily tell that the guitar changes pitch and then comes back.

Each of those yellow notes should be moved up or down a 16th, respectively.

That freeze does not belong XD
From measure 101

to measure 107,

those should not be 16ths.

Those shouldn't be 16ths either.

You started that 8th stream an 8th too late.

During the rest of the refrains, those jumps went to the snare. That first one at measure 171 (it's offscreen) goes with a cymbal, but what do the rest go to?
I'm sure I could pick out a few more if I tried, too. I'm not saying this is a bad simfile, as I liked it more than Duk's, but you could make your simfiles so much better by playtesting them a lot and making sure everything is as accurate as possible.Comment

no. There's like a tiny flutter in it but not a significant change of pitch at all.During that freeze, you can easily tell that the guitar changes pitch and then comes back.
Yes. I never did that part on .5x.Each of those yellow notes should be moved up or down a 16th, respectively.
minor... it feels better if it's there. That freeze does not belong XD
you're right.those should not be 16ths.
you're right.Those shouldn't be 16ths either.
I actually already knew about that... discovered it post-release.You started that 8th stream an 8th too late.
They go to a high note on the keyboard... I never made it a double because of the snare, I made it because that's where the pattern changes, and a double signifies that change much more dramatically than a single.During the rest of the refrains, those jumps went to the snare. That first one at measure 171 (it's offscreen) goes with a cymbal, but what do the rest go to?
Thank you for the constructive criticism... I hardly stepped enough of this song (and lawn wake, interestingly enough) on .5x, which is my normal style. You will find that chlorophyll and szerencsetlen, for example, are virtually mistake-free... if anything notes could be added to them. come horn is pretty much perfect except that I could have used a 24th run instead of twelfth run at one point.
About my style, you are correct-- if the melody repeats, the same arrows are going to be used... it's a direct derivation from the style of mwerp, arch, etc. I also like to put the same notes on the same arrows. And if there's a high note in freezes I like to put it on the right arrow because for some reason that seems like the best arrow for putting emphasis. And I like to start songs on the left arrow and end them in a right-left double.
I will leave beyond abilities as it is for now... I could do a v2 I suppose with twelfths in the place of those sixteenths, but that will wait.Comment

Sweet. Looking forward to it, good sims don't come out enough.
Oh, and your Chlorophyll is damn awesome. The mwerp-ish style of yours is best suited to IDM stuff like Venetian Snares anyway, but Chlorophyll is just damn awesome.Comment
