It's not so much that the file is outright bad as opposed to the song choice forcing you into making it an awkward timing file that feels unorganized to play (even though it's obviously not unorganized). The patterning/layering made it hard to get a good feel for what you're hitting notes to and it all just kind of ends up feeling like a mass of randomly timed notes with no cohesion. This is oversimplifying it and kind of exaggerating, but you get the point.

I think that maybe using more rigid patterning to emphasize more prominent sounds would go a long way, or even denser layering, but it's not something where I could point you to a specific time in the song and be like "yep, this right here is the problem." It is a very difficult file to review in that regard. If I were to approach revising it personally, it would essentially just be me playing each 10s section in the file over and over again, adjusting patterns until it felt right.

That said, I'm pretty sure that you could show that file to some other people and they would be all over it and think it's amazing (and on a technical level, it's pretty neat). We rejected it entirely based on the overall feeling of actually playing the chart, which is inherently kind of vague. It just didn't really gel with Wafles and I, if that makes sense.

That makes sense. I'll be happy if this can find a home in another pack, because frankly I'm not annoyed at your review so much as I am for wasted productivity. I'd like to send something else in if I could've predicted that, but pack's closed.

Just wanting to confirm, did Caliber send you guys the fixes for Frozen World, Ice Angel and Freedom Dive?

Also nice to have a good number of charts in the pack, most of them I consider them to be some of my best

e: Feel free to edit the preview points/lengths and the chart name/simfile artist section. Also told this to Caliber but I wasn't sure whether or not he relayed it to you guys. Mainly a concern because the preview points/chart names of my charts in Yolo3 weren't changed.
