    I love making simfiles. It feels great when people play them and enjoy them. As for the game itself, I only play it to keep my skills up to par so that I can beat my own files.

        lol well I make sure that I only do it in the classes that I can. Some teachers are very amuzed by it and are fine with it but then some either think I should find something more productive to do or they dont like the key smashing noise XD. Last year there was about only 3 classes I couldn't play SM but this year there will probably be even more I cant play in . Another problem is that this year they are not going to allow headphones anymore

            All I know is that Herogashix got off lucky because his teacher pretty much allowed it with the fact that it's a "math game".

                        Especially this. I hardly play Stepmania anymore and mostly just because I don't want to lose my skill. I don't have the time/will to improve anymore.
                        PS: Probably taking a longer break in November because Skyrim comes out

                            stepfile making + solo for playing purposes. I kinda stopped playng for srs now, unless someone goes and buys me a laptop

                                Mostly habit I guess. I'd like to claim community as well, but I really don't get involved too much. I just enjoy lurking the forums and dropping a random comment here or there.

                                SM is infinitely more fun than FFR for me though. FFR is purely about rankings, and I refuse to even finish playing most songs if I'm not gonna AAA or FC. I go so far as to hit the restart button after fucking up, and if I'm at the point of raging at the song I'll restart it and *then* hit Ctrl to end it so it's like I never even played.

                                SM I can sit there and play dumps and just enjoy beating my keyboard up and not really care about all the cb's or horrible MA or any of that. It's just fun.

                                It'd be cool if I eventually got to be this good

                                    I have no clue, but I play more now than I did when I was in High School. I just love this damn game, its ridiculous. But i honestly need to slow down on the arrow games and concentrate more on guitar... I have been ignoring it a lot lately, and that doesn't agree with me too much :/

                                            Few things feel better than doing things you never thought you would ever be able to do. I had tried beating gigadelic for years (I never really played hard enough to really improve back then) and now i can beat it no real problem.
