    With StepMania 5, it's more of a "what CAN'T I do?" question, so if you're targeting SM5, I'd just suggest you do whatever you like, with the following notes:

    * Any mouse-based interface is only going to work in Windows at the moment because nobody else wrote any mouse code for the other platforms (well there was that time I tried to get it working in Linux...)
    * Some screens can't be changed around too much (from their default); these include Options Menus.

    I'm probably missing some more stuff, too.

            a load of stuff I want to do cant be done in any sm ver like proper gametype switching (side from sm5te then), and a load of noteskin combined with theme lua shit :>
