Re: SM5 Speed mods and Arrow Position

I figured it out. I went to C:\Users\"Elijah"\
And there was no App Data
So i just searched roaming on the WHOLE computer and one of them was linked to
C:\Users\"Elijah"\AppData\Roaming So i accessed it from there

I'd just like to take a moment to say good fight microsoft and good fight stepmania.

That being said i still can't access AppData from my computer profile. That probably has something to do with Ca25nada's post :P

      thanks everyone.

Bumping this because I have no idea what to do to change the speedmods, the speedmods.txt file doesn't work, I'm missing the "save" folder in Stepmania so I can't access localprofiles or machineprofile. I searched appdata and roaming on my entire computer and found nothing. I'm not a computer wizz so avoid jargon if possible.

I'm on windows 7 and I saved the Stepmania folder to my documents if it helps solve my problem.. Thanks in advance.

I figured out an EASY way to do it, for me atleast.. Hopefully it works for you.

Search Stepmania 5 in your start menu
Go to Open Stepmania 5 Settings Folder

It should open up Users > (Username) > AppData > Roaming > Stepmania 5
It's basically a shortcut from having to deal with all that locating app data and roaming crap
From there just go to Save > MachineProfile > Speedmods.txt

          Badabing:]

Hopefully this works for you! Works for me no problem

My main point is, Do it from the Settings folder and not the Program folder

Another easy way to locate the files (for Window users); In the search just type StepMania 5, a bunch of listings should pop up. Click 'open StepMania 5 Setting Folder' this leads directly to the directory. Then follow their instructions as suit.
            Save>LocalProfiles>0000000>SpeedMods
            Or Save>MachineProfiles>SpeedMods
