        IMO I like stepmania more. Because it's more fun and requires more skill. However, FFR is just as fun it's just limited

                Well, FFR's scoring system is almost solely based on combo... and on the other hand, SM scores you almost entirely on PA/MA...



                Also, FFR is more user-friendly while StepMania is more competitive. Another way to look at it is FFR is recreational and SM is 'Pro'.

                    i like SM more. it takes about 1 to 2 months (guessing) for the subscriber songs to come out on FFR, but you can download a song pack with around 50 songs in 15-20 minutes. SM also has way more mods to keep you occupied.

                        yea u got that mixed up. unless you just mean ffr=easy songs (pa) and sm=hard songs (combo), but of course thats not necessarily true. since ffr's scoring is based almost solely on combo, i tend to lean toward sm. sm also has a LOT more quality simfiles and potential for them, though the whole avmiss fix is pretty cool.

                            SM I have 25XX quality charts from KB megapacks.
                            FFR we have around i dunno 600 songs with token and skill and all and not all that quality...

                                SM is for MA ;D

                                FFR is a lot more based on combo then Stepmania.

                                    i personally think ffr is better...
                                    ive tried stepmania a few times and didnt find it hard at all
                                    ffr is more of a challenge to me
                                    and i like the way everythings organized and it had more stuff
                                    ...again thats just my opinion

                                            Sm is WAY harder. Every song in ffr is really easy to pass, and theres only a few that are hard to combo. On sm, theres so many hard files that i cant pass yet. Also there is much better step files on sm.

                                                    FFR site itself.
                                                    especially with the other types you can play |resonance, spin it up|
                                                    dosent compare to sm.
                                                    plus dosent require download.
