Okay i'm a total newb to this so let's see if I can get some help here...

I want...
- Metal DDR pad
- Arcade bar
- Works for PC without any extra adaptors and what-nots.
- Something that won't shift on carpet and hardwood.

I'll want this to work right out of the box as i'm an idiot when it comes to setups.

Max price (including shipping [Canada] and any other fees): $450 USD

Suggestions?

If there is anything that has pressable, programmable buttons for both PIU and DDR I would be willing to pay more.

Just wondering is there a DDR metal pad that works with the ps3? I tried ddrex2 on my ps3 and it works but I can't find a metal pad that also works? Anyone have any suggestions?

I've had a few people ask about what dance pads go to what consoles and stuff.

The answer is most of them either go to one console, or none at all. You need to buy a Control box. Mine goes from dance pad to USB, PS2 and Xbox. Although I only use it for the PC (SM and ITG).

Side note. My Pad still works as if it's new by the way. In case you wondered about the durability of my pad.

a pad under 100$ that is the best..i prefer metal pad .. and that i could use with PS2 on ITG and with my PC on stepmania.. any idea wich is the best i could buy?

Ok your SOL for a metal dance pad under $100 bucks anyways, but you can everything else your looking for in an igintion. $70, works with everything quite nicely and is very close if not just as good as metal ones. ...Well that sdepending on your level i play 10 and 11 and it works fine for me but if your on 13 or something than get prepared to pay in the $200-$300 zone.

I bought the one I linked to. I've used it for about 25 days so far and works good. I dance in my socks btw. I would definitely recommend to anyone that can do 10 footers to invest in a better one though.
