Go figure, I just tried the strategy of strumming excessively for the first time, and it worked, first try. Usually I just downstrummed as fast as possible to focus on fretting, apparently that wasn't much of a strategy.

wow police truck has to be the most god-awful cover ever

Midnite took me 3 tries to beat but like 2 seconds in Practice to realize the trills weren't chords

shash, I used Slowest briefly on Midnite, and IIRC it actually should've had more notes, it felt slow

5* on Play with Me after maybe 5 tries and what was probably an unnecessary stop in Practice

6th tier was really cool except for Police Truck (bpm should've been doubled to prevent dumb HO/POs, cover made it suck) and that anthrax song was garbage (though fun)

who rhymes butt with pants and edits "drunks" gg censorship

limozeen rules basically, tier 2 doesn't seem like a stretch imo because the solo is short enough to SP through

overall songlist was pretty damn solid for 80s music lmao but not worth the $50 I paid for (or won in easy ddr tourney, whatever)

Just got 80's a few hours ago- in tier...5 maybe?

its pretty easy, except for the fact that all of a sudden, tier 4 got harder. 4*'ed some of those songs on my sightreads. Should finish it up tomorrow.

Me and my friend are gonna spend A LOT of time working on co-op this weekend. The thing with 80's is that the songs are generally a lot easier than any other GH we've had so far. All you really need is decent skills, loads of time and effort, and you should be a top ranked co-op team in no time.

So yeah, hopefully we can get some good scores on the co-op leaderboards soon.

Only on the part that goes slower for a bit, which is understepped, almost all of it is way way overstepped

jordan is a pain in the a'ss but i got 87% 281k, and 80's isn't all that good, its got some good songs but there are no bonus tracks, and not alot of characters... -.-

i can agree with bonus tracks... but characters? Seriously, you don't like it cuz has a limited supply of characters.

Lars Umlaut couldnt change for 80s. Clive, Xavier, and Eddie all are pretty much era based, so they can't either. Im not sure about Casey, she could have been in there, but ya.

Grim only changed 80s cuz it's funny and they needed an unlockable.

I think you guys are missing the point when it comes to 80s. It's just an encore and really shouldn't be thought of as another title in the Guitar Hero series. To me, it's just something to do while I wait for Guitar Hero 3 coming out in October (I think). Also, reading earlier posts, Guitar Hero wasn't supposed to appeal to people who play Pop'n Music and all those other games. It was to bring in an entire group of people into the Music Game World, not entertain those who are already in it. And Guitar Hero accomplished that. Sure, it's easy for all of us because we're experienced in that genre but a majority of gamers aren't.
