Pros:
-No old inactives
--This includes the ****** myspacers
-No alts galore(for now)
-No bots
-No cheated scores
-Accurate scores to peoples current skill abilities due to the lack of playing for a year.
-Cleaner, new profiles and designs
-Accurate active member count
-Cleaner FFR
-More space for FFR to use resulting in faster FFR(I think)

Cons:
-Cleaning your levelranks(this is actually fun for me)
-Redesigning your profiles
-Re-adding friends(REALLY?! THIS is a problem for some people?! Lazy f*cks)
-Have to change veteran status req's
-Have to change a few other things with the site.

FFR has a huge history. To get rid of that history is a BIG deal. What kind of message does that send to those who spend lots and lots of time on this site for years on end? The grandtotals, the total gameplays, the forum posts, ****ing everything to be completely gone. If this happens we didn't exist here. How is that not awful? I'm a fan of keeping tabs on history.

Only cause it's fast and short. As for the song itself, it's not really music. It's kinda lame. I just like playing fast short songs.

I really hate to tell you this, but that song you're talking about is actually music.

If all the ****ty synthlight files were to be deleted and actually post high quality files like the ones being implemented into the game now, that makes it a LOT easier for people to at least not be so much against it. I feel like this could be a good idea, but ONLY if you delete the old ass ****ty files and implement new, decent quality files.

what if we just wait till Jan 1st any account that hasn't been accessed since FFR has been back up is deleted...

people that can't play to the level they used too can ask to have their stats sperately reset

and people stop quoting leonid. ****

I'm tempted to say that I'm pretty ok with this idea, but I don't have 3+ billion total points, and 3 years of membership, so I'll not know what's like to lose an history in here.

I'm against it, but it's not really my decision. All I know is that if you do go through with it say goodbye to your user base.

Sure, you'll keep a few good people but anyone who actually worked at or for something on this site will probably go. I know if all of my stuff was restarted I'd claim a few alts and just hold them to piss people off then never come back. Sure it's not a nice thing to do, but neither is deleting all of the history that has been stored for the past decade (exaggeration time-frame to make a point).

If they were going to go through with something like this wouldn't it have been better to have done it before bringing the website back up?

Terrible idea.
What we need to do is delete all remains of the FFR Simfile Database so we don't keep getting topics about someone not being able to download a song off the database.

I agree with this. Even though i just made this account in late october, i don't want my 852 plays to be gone. That's lots of time, Phynx. D:
