Re: Prochat occupies 100% CPU usage
Don't even use Mac but nice try =U
Is there anything Windows can do that Mac can't? Running specific software doesn't really count as that's up to the software developers rather than the the OS. I think Windows just needs to rebuild it's core components. A lot of it seems horribly dated. Not saying if you use Windows you're dumb, I use Windows quite often to play games and flash applications work better for it because Adobe focuses on Windows rather than Mac or Linux. Not trying to start an OS war. Each OS has it's place.Last edited by fido123; 11-24-2010, 04:47 PM.Comment

Re: Prochat occupies 100% CPU usage
If all else fails I've had this problem with Linux forever, and Mac these days even runs on the Linux kernel. Flash is complicated as **** and Adobe is going to spend most their time on the OS with the larger market share. As updates come out sometimes things get better and sometimes some flashes just honestly don't work all together, but you might have to grin and bear it like me or go on Windows if you want to do anything flash intensive. Not saying this is the problem, just saying it's likely there's no problem at all at least you can help.Comment

Re: Prochat occupies 100% CPU usage
CPU usage hovers around 35%~40%. Good enough for me.
Also CS3 I believe.
EDIT: CS3.Comment

Re: Prochat occupies 100% CPU usage
It it hovers around that, then it's something on the profiles as that uses the same swf. The Prochat .fla is CS5, so you would need at least CS4 to open it.Comment

Re: Prochat occupies 100% CPU usage
Just tried prochat at synthlight's profile. It didn't lag.
I wonder what in my profile caused so much lag.. Profile background maybe?
By the way, this problem didn't happen in my profile before the last fix for ampersand bug.Comment
