    Re: FFR at school

LOL I have access to FFR at my school, lags a lot less then my computer at home so I do better on it, show off to a lot of people so the news spread everywhere and people always talk about it when they are talking to their friends and I am the only one that plays it there. Also the down part is there are no speakers on the computer so I cant listen to the music lol. I dont get extra credits from classes but I get respect from the teachers and they are all kind to me lol.

Download it onto your usb. It would then be saved on the usb not your hard drive.

From my expert flash drive experience SM WILL NOT RUN OFF FLASH DRIVE!!!!

The transfer rates are too slow for the amount of data that needs to be transferred, HOWEVER you are able to run SM off a CD or DVD (unsure about DVD) just make sure that the settings you want are in the CD/DVD since you cant change it once burned. Me and my friends used this method since our school admins always deleted the installs.

I have a couple of SM CDs laying around here somewheres *digs in cases* found them...

Fake edit: The CD option works the best. Flash drive timed out in loading (read frozen SM)

              Trick from my high school:

              1. Open Microsoft Word.
              2. Type random BS.
              3. Go to Start > Logoff.
              4. Microsoft Word will prompt you and ask "Do you want to save...blahblahblah" just click "Cancel." And it should stop from logging off.
              5. However, any security that the school tried should be logged off already (any icons in the tray should be gone) and you can basically use any program/download anything.

Windscarredfaith's method works only under the circumstance that the restrictive application is not continuously sent through a master computer, and is set up on the individual computer.

It does not work with my school.

Course, most major bypass sites are blocked too.

SM runs off a flash drive fine if you're willing to tolerate a huge delay before playing each file.
