i had this happen to me today once but it was a file that was uploaded a while ago so i disregarded it as being anything worth worrying about and later today i downloaded a sim and it worked fine

From what it seems, it looks like the effects are different on each user... In other words, it's kinda impossible to figure out what the problem is for us users who can't get ANY un-corrupted songs. Sorry people! The only alternative I have to offer is to download the sims on another computer that doesn't get them corrupted and send them to your main computer through something like USB or mail it to yourself (I don't really understand how that works, but people somehow do it =D).

It doesn't work for me, but try the suggestions below (the ones that say 7-zip and smzip) if that doesn't work, gotta do ^

You don't close a thread. Only a moderator does, and only then with probable cause.

I'm glad that the problem got fixed, because when it started, Tass said he had no idea what was causing it.
