actually, there has been discussion to re-do and get the FFR wikipedia page back up... long story as to why it was removed (twice) previously... but we think we can get it back up for good this time.

Just to let you know, I don't support this as a HELP wiki for noobs. More like information about the site itself (history, features, admin list, etc.). We have stickies and a forum section itself for noobs.

Just what I was thinking. I'd like to learn about the history of FFR, and it's not like noobs read help topics/threads anyway.

I'm not sure if the wiki host I found would be good, either. I'm looking into what host Wikipedia uses.

Yes, that offers a good general intro, but it's not really something of the level I think a dedicated wiki would be able to incorporate (more wide-ranging info, not necessarily just an encyclopedia entry).

what paintball linked to is at least part of what the old wikipedia entry on FFR was, before it was deleted.
