Alt the problem with that is the only alternative to XP is Linux, and lots of people don't know how to work an open source server like that, don't know they have to buy special versions of programs, etc. The general public is going to buy what it gives them, and since Microsoft has a monopoly stranglehold on the computer industry that's what people will continue to use. As a result, the underdogs (like linux) will never grow to their full potential.
