I'd play Velo if people actually played it, but since 99% of the community prefers legacy for MP, i suppose that will have to do.

it's not that everyone PREFERS legacy

it's just that everyone's been using legacy since the beginning for multiplayer, and the directions for getting onto velocity MP isn't clear at ALL

(you have to find the link and go on it, woop.. for legacy you just click multiplayer on the engine)

so yeah, velocity is a better engine but 99% of the people are used to legacy

I normally play velo when I'm not playing MP, but the MP version of velo is too buggy and laggy for me so I'll use the legacy engine for MP. Although if the bugginess and lagginess was fixed in the velo engine, I'd go back to that one.

Looks like the legacy engine's gonna win this one. I do want to do an MP event but also know it wont be perfect because of lag issues and such. Hopefully we can still have a successful event regardless.

i played on velo, and the lag seems to be of a worse sort. legacy for me

I just use Velocity engine. I like the color of the Velocity Arrows, because they are a nice solid color.

Another reason why no one is in Velocity MP is because it's not posted on the FFR Community or FFR the Game drop down bar. The MAJORITY of FFR doesn't even know it exists except for the regular users. If you're going to create something, don't hide it for the people that only read that specific thread or post about it, just like BlackWebb. Put it out there so everyone, or every vet, has a chance to see and experience it. Plus, if people don't even have it bookmarked, they have to go through the trouble to just search for the links.

Of the literally thousands of multiplayer games we've played together, not one of them has been on Velocity MP.
You play singleplayer on velocity engine, but for MP you use legacy engine.
