I'm just a little annoyed that they're already getting vROFL. On top of getting this token.
I don't hate hi19 or anything, but this is kinda pissing me off that a rare token is less rare because he's complaining. Some people's awesome files don't even make it into the game damnit.

A good chunk of the people in the tourney already had vROFL. That token has been around for quite some time now. It was never said that it was only being given out for the TS event, we actually mentioned several times it would be given out in other ways. With the tournament, yes I normally would give these things out at the end, but being that the holidays are here I thought it would be a nice "present" Sorry for wanting to spread a little cheer around the site as well. It's kind of silly to only have 10 people with a token.

nah Emith, it was something that was talked about but never happened, my mistake. When Kayla was hiding the tokens, she planned on giving it out along with the support tokens as the spider images.

I guess you could look at it that way, but maybe the people who wont walk away with vROFL (i.e. people who already have it) should get Freedom Dive.
I don't know what I would do in your position, I guess, so sorry if I am giving anyone a hard time. I just felt a little bit annoyed since it was only like one day later that 70 people got the token. lol

I'm not feeling so bad about it now though, kinda just had to let it go through my system.

It's not like I was like "haha lets screw the other people" I was just trying to find a solution for now that would hopefully make some people a little happier is all. And it would have been later if I waited till the tourney ended, but I was kinda like hey the holidays are here and I think this will make some people smile. I never expected people to be all that upset and I'm sorry for that. Just wanna spread some holiday cheer. I should do a credit giveaway or something.

quick let's remove vrofl from top 8 because people did the gamewhoring competition and they worked that much harder

leave the tokens alone, deal with it, live your life - everyone who has Freedom Dive has at least pushed hard to get to where they belong and token possession will still be relatively low

I'm understandably annoyed since I was one of the few unfortunates (Elite Ninja, YOSHl, and myself) who whored their ass off on Monday for over 10 hours in gameplay time alone just to log on 24 hours later to find out 69 more people earned the token the same way we could have had we spent our Mondays doing something productive. Not only did we "push hard", but we pushed hard TWICE and we have nothing to show for the second time (aside from vrofl which is a completely different endeavor and given to the top 8, not the top 12).

Also, your logic is backwards with vrofl. It was originally a "place top 8 in the official tournament" token and the gamewhoring aspects were added later, I can see the point you're trying to make though. What I'm mainly taking issue with here is that there was absolutely no foretelling that FREEDOM DiVE would get an alternate requirement so soon. It's comparable to whoring 1 billion in a day for vrofl and the next day they give it out for having 90% of the skill tokens or something (a requirement already satisfied before whoring the billion/day) without warning or even a mention on the front page. Like Emithith said, time is worth way more than money and I feel like I wasted a significant amount of time on Monday just for the chance to play FREEDOM DiVE like 10 times before it was given out to the masses :/.

As for hi19 getting pissed that his songs are tokens with hard requirements, for the love of god if you're going to nerf FREEDOM DiVE, please nerf St. Scarhand as well x.x

Can I just be one of those people who were getting the token automatically just because, think it would just be easier then me trying to place in a tournament or gamewhore.
