As much as FFR and TS pretend to hate each other, you should talk to Patashu to see how he implemented his algorithm. As far as I can tell they work similarly.

It's not going to work if they have unrecorded scores anywhere except for an unrecorded AAA. I guess you can manually edit the cells (but you'd need to figure out what I'm doing; didn't document it very much).

The attachment is in my previous post (I edited). Hopefully it works properly, let me know if anything isn't working.

Actually that would be better since there are not many unrecorded scores to edit. Thank you for the program! I'll attach it to the OP :]

EDIT: Something to think about. What about new songs? How are you going to implement this in your program?

um, the thing will work fine for another few months. I made it check cells 2:1000, so the moment ffr has more than 999 songs it'll not work; would be an easy fix though.

dammit, I don't know why I find this interesting/entertaining. (I mean, i know why; i'm a statistics phd student; which means though that I probably should be doing other stuff).

I could pretty easily (not using excel) calculate scores for arbitrarily many people; assuming ffr site admins let me gather data from the site from level rank pages...

Oh, I didn't realize you meant you could fix it easily by just fixing the stuff in the level ranks. That's better than what I had in mind (editing the cells in to the right, where computation is done, is a bad idea).

I already did haha. I made a general formula for everything lower than a FGO. Plug p = VC and p+1 = FMO.

Just let me know if there's anything you may want to change (ie, any editing of the formula or whatever), and I could edit the excel file (or feel free to do it yourself)... Also I edited my previous post after you had posted, don't know if you've read it.

If you scroll to the right (cells AC101 to AC115 or so), there should be some cells highlighted in green. The rating itself would be the lowest value that doesn't say NOT ENOUGH AAA's, but the score (between 1 and 14) would be the number directly to the left of it.

It's the lowest number that doesn't have the "Not enough AAAs" next to it. You're a 11.140625.

Oops, sorry, my English explanation was terrible. Maybe my English is just terrible in general . When I said lowest, I meant visually lowest :P (as in, bottommost).

Unfortunately, it uses a function that requires at least Excel 2007... I'll work on a more compatible version later...
