People need to start submitting easy songs, feel like all these new songs being released is starting to make this game only for the good players, give the newbies some songs to play. Songs like in the difficulty range of 1-5. =]Comment

but if the song is easy then it''s either a boring song or people will complain about it being understepped

I like all the songs. That hey hey monkey song is a little difficult for me. But YAY for another file to practice jumpstream on can't wait to see more songs added to FFR.

The only people who complain are the active forum members, who are better players usually anyways. Personally I think there should be more in the 5 range. Those charts are great for beginners and feel more like DDR stepfiles. The average song difficulty right now is just above and 8 and creeping slowly towards 9. Out of the entire community, 9's and 10's can only be FC'd by a small fraction of the community, but these are most often the vocal members of the forum. Don't forget about the newbies!

I think more emphasis on easy songs have been on demand more recently, yet the newest files coming out are from the older batches of files which may have had a higher ratio of harder songs.Comment

Whatever happened to those 6/7 foot unlocks? It seems as though FFR is becoming like the Street Fighter series, and only going for those who've played the game and know what they're doing. And, also, a lack of token songs. I guess that's intentional, seeing as how the moderators are trying to fix everything up, and let it cool off before they add any extra ingredients... Oh, and, I refuse to play anything involving Vocaloid. So, I guess I'll only talk about two of the songs.
So, I tried the funky monkey song (Hey Hey Monkey), and, at first, I didn't think it was a 10, until the jumpstreams came along. Somehow, I managed to get a 700 combo on that. :\ As for the song, it was disappointing, even from Sharpnel. Sounds like something that was done in 10 minutes with a lot of help from FL Studio.
Then I tried that Chocobo song, and, it reminded me of the theme song from KaBlam. (I guess any ska song would do that). From what I've played, it is a very confusing 10 footer. Lots of jumpstreams, which, I guess, is going to be the norm for newer FFR songs.
