I think you misunderstood. He doesnt mean your opponent can pick the song for you, he means after your opponent has picked thier song, and the title is showing up in the little box, that YOU can then just click on HIS box, and the song he picked will automatically load for you ( if your prepared and in agreement to play the song he picked ).

This is a great idea btw, if my MP didnt run like total ass for some reason and I could play it, this would be a feature I would like to see.

There is lot of good idea. % score will be much better (scores and more balanced).
People who smashing keyboard for FC and having almost only goods have a better scores than people who have all arrow with the perfect timing and one dump miss in the middle.

But, it's too late now. FFR is too old for this big changes. This should be an other version of ffr (resonance?).

I like the idea of bpm changes and stops. Sometimes, this flow so well with the music and the files will be less repetitive. Except if peoples made ****ty files (but we can't find ****ty files without bpm changes/stops so...).

The idea for the song list and the multiplayer are good.
