rzr, consider making Custom Titles its own section? They're a pretty big hook for people to subscribe.

There's a difference between subscribing and donating. If you're subscribing you're paying for individual privilges over a certain period of time. If you're donating you're giving to a cause with nothing in return.

Yea i understand that. You subscribe so that you can receive something in return for your money. But then after being banned for little to no reason i can have all of these things taken away. Then i am told that it is a donation with benefits and that i am not paying for anything. So why is it called a subscription if it is a donation? And why is it a donation disguised as helping the site?

Oh, now I see where you're coming from. Fortunately, I haven't been banned, so my money-giving isn't a donation as of yet.

However, from your standpoint, yes this is just a mere donation for hell knows what it could be for. Nevertheless, your pointing out the indecent possibilities of such a donation is not going to help you in any way here. Even if the admins do use the money for their own leisurely expenses, posting here will not get you any proof, nor supporters, and will give the admins more reason to punish you for no reason. =l <- paradox =l

This is good and all. But, what is the reason behind getting a subscription if you would try your shot at becoming a stepartist? That would actually be better, IMO. Because that subscription is like permanent.

You can be both. Unsubbed simfile artists don't get the benefits of subbed simfile artists.

Moreover, simfile artists on FFR don't get much of a merit until they become as popular as behanjc etc.

Haha, I'd say 80% of people on this website have no clue how sims are made. Of the 20% who do, only 5% can actually find the correct BPMs and offsets.

And trust me, they don't just let every file into FFR. There are judges, and many files get rejected.

I'm glad I'm part of the 1% of the entire site that can find correct BPMs and offsets, even in classic songs.

If you're an R1 Simfile Author or Music Producer, I know you get access to the subscriber forum - don't know if that includes any other amenities offered by purchasing an actual subbie (Beta, Token ranks, etc).

@Midday: Active users, so ~ 65,000 people. So, about 700 people can find BPMs, offsets and put reasonable steps to a song, wouldn't you agree?
