Nope, because 2nd style will be left as it is.

Basically steps in 3rd style will be completely different from the ones in 2nd, anyways.

Yeah, that's the point that I think has never really sunk in, mostly because there's never really been an explicit statement about it.

It seems to me that 3rd style will supercede 2nd style in terms of being the "FFR The Game" version of FFR, but it was never suggested to me that the existing 2nd style was just going to vanish into nothingness.

Personally, I'd like to see 3rd style become R1, and 2nd style replace R2 which could die a quiet death.

And now that I think on it, FFR has permission from the artists to use all of those songs. Chances are very good that those artists specified that only FFR has permission to use those songs, so it would be a copyright violation to provide them all for free download. Which is why the list of artists giving blanket permissions links to websites where you may or may not be able to download the songs, rather than links to download sites.
