You've seen 2 of his files so far. Both are extremely old. Why don't you wait till Blue Rose, Nanatsuropanda and others of his get into the game. Until then stfu.

A stepartist generally doesn't change his style very much through time.

In response to the song releases, I like a lot of them. I agree some are boring (The Moment, lololo 6 times whored to AAA a crappy offsync stepfile to a crappy song), for the most part they're decent in my opinion. I don't find them boring like everybody else does when referring to "vets", and I'm probably better than most people who've posted in this thread.

FFR is mostly made up of noobs/newbs who just want to play a few rounds and never touch the game again. The rock/pop stuff is for them. While I admit they are not the most fun or the best songs to play (I'm sure vets will agree), they are good if the vast majority of files remain on the widgets.

The recent mass release of like 70 files is very disappointing. This time, these files were made and released for us regulars, but even then, the songs and files were mostly subpar, and the huge release makes it nearly impossible to pick out the good files. Of course, these files were from a batch a long time ago, so things have chagned, but for better or worse, we'll have to wait to see.

That brings up the question of why can't we just leave widget songs in widgets?

Or have a widget section that accounts for nothing in your level rank and such. Since as stated 99% of the widget song players come here very occasionally.

If you don't like all the new releases, dont cry about it, just dont play the songs.

If you really want to improve you skills, find a bunch of the new songs in your difficulty range and play them. That should help you.

The only real part that gets annoying is when you get one good on a 4 minute long easy/beginners song at like 3:50 or something v.v

But yeah, that and how some of the rock isn't even labeled right. Scary Kids Scaring Kids isn't screamo.

Yeah. I have like 50 or so songs now that I have nt played, and my avg. rank has dropped by atleast 3000.

i think that adding more songs is good for the community because maybe people who don't play ffr now might come because they heard one of their favourite bands are in the game or something..?

your files are bad. there's not much else to say.

Like behanjc said, they're old. Ridiculously old. Bicycle Break was the second file I ever attempted. If it were released when it was supposed to, it would have been better compared to the other files (may I add this was way before Ruins).

PARANOiA was made several months ago or something, but it's actually quite decent, fun, follows the music well, and gives the beginners something instead of always catering to the vets. It was a very successful experimentation of a different style of stepping.

Only after his/her style has fully developed. I am still quite new to stepping.

i agree that the new rock songs are boring as hell...and the fact that FFR is getting mainstream to get more people on. honestly...i think FFR should stay near the underground music a little more because most people on this site who play regularly enjoy underground music no matter the difficulty....

as for the new songs themselves i like most of them (except the freaking alternative songs they try to pass as rock)

IIRC, from now on, only the heavy charts for the rock songs are going to be added to the actual game...the rest will remain in widget hell forever.
