all the new songs are cool and all but the thing that is really pissing me off is the widgets (im saying this because i think myspace sucks) not only that but you dont even get your rank higher or earn credits

Ok here's what the deal is about all the rock/mainstream songs. 1% of all people who play FFR regularly use the forums. These people generally play with some level of seriousness and do not like mainstream music due to the stepfiles and BPM changes etc. These people very adamantly voice their opinions on the forum. However 99% of the other people never use the forum and play on occasions. Most of these people enjoy the mainstream rock music and do not care about their scores or PA.

Also, basically the same thing applies to all easy/beginner files. Most of the people on the forum find them easy and boring, but the vast majority of the people only play relatively easy songs.

That's a huge exaggeration.

Most of the songs being released are 6-10 therefore the noobs(which make up the majority of FFR) aren't playing them.
The people who are actually good are tired of the same crap patterns that are in the gist of the new songs. (Though I'd admit that some of them are good, ie. Strawberry Music.)

All in all, it's like this.

FFR is mostly made up of noobs/newbs who just want to play a few rounds and never touch the game again. The rock/pop stuff is for them. While I admit they are not the most fun or the best songs to play (I'm sure vets will agree), they are good if the vast majority of files remain on the widgets.

The recent mass release of like 70 files is very disappointing. This time, these files were made and released for us regulars, but even then, the songs and files were mostly subpar, and the huge release makes it nearly impossible to pick out the good files. Of course, these files were from a batch a long time ago, so things have chagned, but for better or worse, we'll have to wait to see.

Then again, my expectations are probably a bit too high. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's probably a bit high.

Okay end of discussion. There's not much else to say.

Poking fun at his signature? The world may never know.
Anyways, if you hate the new mainstream music so much, then don't play the songs. If you aren't concerned about your rankings, then an untouched song, or a song played once with a crappy score, should mean nothing to you. For the players that are concerned with their ranks, they need to go in, AAA or at least SDG the song, and never play it again. If you can't do that with the mainstream songs (which are NOT that hard for the most part), then chances are, you aren't in the rankings of being competitive.

You've seen 2 of his files so far. Both are extremely old. Why don't you wait till Blue Rose, Nanatsuropanda and others of his get into the game. Until then stfu.

well, yea some of the songs i find annoying(mostly 4minute rock songs that are like on easy difficult) but hey more songs give more variety for the pro's avg's, and beginners so im okay with it

I completely agree. I've only played a few of them (around ten) and it's really getting to me. I dislike numerous songs from this release.

Yeah. Rock/pop songs should definitely stay on widgets- their simplicity bores me so much, as with the fact that there are numerous difficulties with one song- making me play the same songs a few times to get some AAAs.
