Classical, as far as FFR is concerned, really means "Anything played primarily on the piano or violin".

The only exception is JRB...which would probably go into Classical if we were adding it now.

Another exception: TWGP. Whatever.

Pretty good song, whatever. There are better files, but there are worse, too.

Also, I don't think OP meant Opening Theme in Jurs case. It also means Original Post or Opening Post in forum talk. Maybe that was what the song was about: the complexities of her first post.

Another exception: TWGP.

TGWP is a remix of classic video game songs, so it makes far more sense in Arcade, even if it IS a piano song.

By the way, if a song fits equally well into more than one category, it typically goes like this: Funk > Rock > Hip-Hop > Arcade > Classic > Special (Secret/Purchased/Token/Skill) > Misc > Dance.

see MLR and FLR. really, they're blues... which would go under Misc. but they have elements of classical, and they're 90 years old... so they go in Classical.

Piano != classical. Best you could do is say it's neo classical, but even so, I don't really like it. Then again, I didn't like Classical Insanity going into Classical either.

Personally, Jurs Op would have been a good unlockable song I'd say (thus sidestepping the genre dispute entirely). Not like the whole site even knows who Jurs is anyway.

Hmm? I wouldn't say "remix"... more like compilation or something. Remix implies it was mixed again, not performed in a different format.

I think there should be a Jazz/Chill/Lounge genre. Tass could ask a whole bunch of people to make songs for this genre, and he could sift through them until he finds 9 or 10 good sims. Just a thought.

As bad and generic as my files are, compare them to the rest of the game...
The fact that this is in sync and mildly technical (pitch relevance omg) instantly puts it ahead of 90% of the other stuff on FFR.

FFR has low standards

P.S. I agree. That's why I've stopped taking new songs. I'm done with new FFR files. I think I might work on making SM files. It'll be nice to be able to use hands and 120bpm jacks and mines and freezes for a change.
