Well, it's already well-known that there are going to be speed mods, so I don't think we can get them to change it now. I think it would be better with them, too.

Edit: and shash, there's a big difference between screenshrinking and speed mods for me.

i cant play sm at all, because i screenshrink, and i cant screenshrink on sm. no matter what cmod i play with, i still cant do well. i will still screenshrink in 3rd style rather than use a higher speed

yea, i have a feeling that 3rd style will totally ruin any skill that i currently have.

Hopefully in 3 years, the bpm of the song will change how fast the arrows come up, there are freezes and bpm changes in a song. The simfile db will allow timechanges.

In that case it would be SM with a better MP system and less ways to hack. Thats it.

That number is a little unreasonable. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the member total doubled by then.

The member total is going up faster than just a linear graph, probably closer to time squared. So, by then, there should be more like 4 million members, but it's hard to estimate that far in advance.
