Actually, I've been getting permission from asian artists. (Shiki, Silvia, onoken, cranky). By asian, I guess you mean stuff like J-pop, or anime songs?

I haven't tried contacting anyone for J-pop but I could try. I've been wanting to anyway.

If anything I'd say there are too many songs with Japanese lyrics. More linguistic variety would be nice. I guess it's because Japanese dance songs seem to be 'hip'.
