In my opinion, these is no such thing as a file without 4-or-less-frame jack separations that belongs on SM but not FFR, and I don't really buy any of the arguments to the contrary...all I hear is stuff about how the "feel" of FFR is changing, blah blah blah, but the fact is that it's clearly possible and not even that hard to play them on FFR, and "feel" is entirely subjective and up to the individual anyway, so you can't possibly expect us to use that in our judging of files.

For the record, I don't find this file very fun at all in FFR. I liked Torinouta, though.

coming from the person with 276 out of 276 points on the top player scale, of course you know what's hard for the general populous

this is why it's good to have variety in judging files, not just 2 guys with the same mindset

easy? yes. gay? yes. suitable for FFR if you can get the desired result by hitting them in a manner that was not intended by the stepfile author or the stepfile itself? no.


and the ones in all the TGWP's and in this song aren't easy. they're garbage.

Like I said, I don't think that's relevant at all. You can actually do the same thing in SM (to a lesser extent, but you can DEFINITELY PA and sometimes even MA rolls by hitting them as jumps), so I really don't see the problem besides that FFR's timing window is rather large.

Now that is strange to me. That may just be you, and it is opinion, but Torinouta is more of a bitch for FFR that it probably should be. Coat Czech flows, and at least is a bit more unique. Torinouta resmbles a much large SM feel, and Czech is more FFRish.

Sertman is merely just stating that it's getting annoying. It is, I'm tired of having 64th rolls, and whether its coincidence or not, the admins have the ability to stop that and change up the queue. Because I know you guys play the files before you put them in, at least we hope. Wasn't exactly the case for lawn wake though XD. Yes it was a joke.

We need to take a look at something. If you look at what is played daily, you'll find the songs that are extremely easy at the top, because there are far more beginners than there are advanced players. The files that are being released week in and week out are all things intended for the advanced or better. Perhaps for the SotW, we should release 3 files, one beginner, one intermediate and on advanced.

Thats just my opinion/suggestion too.

Edit: And shash, the problem with that last piece is that if its a roll, it should be hit as one. It's kind of like the noosb who mash silence and FC it. The same deal with the rolls. Why would we make it a roll if you can get the best possible score by quadding it?
