It's a remix from a NES game... so no, the original one probably doesn't sound cool.

The reason it does that...(the jackhammers) is because 1) your computer isnt really fast and when they come up it lags SLIGHTLY causing you to miss (like me ;/) and 2) its ffr. FFR is a great game.. no doubt about that. buts its only flash and the timing is the greatest. The method synth uses to do things like that is more of a visual thing (arrow placing) there are no perfect doubles in ffr. They are placed 1 before the other about a 1/30th a second apart i think (maybe less time like 1/64th) The jack hammers look like this on stepmania

Sometimes they arent placed perfectly, and they are smushed together making it imperfect. thats just a few reasons why it makes you miss

Somebody needs to remix the music and send in stepfiles from Mario RPG for SNES... god I loved the music on that game... too bad I can't remix stuff like that... and too bad my stepfile making skills are bad..

Dude.. BobbleHeadInspiration would be one hell of a stepfile.. if someone like Arch or Hyro or Jello did that song.. damn son.. it'd be tight

HA! Got the .rns files extentions to work so now I can d/l just about any oldschool song under the sun.

It's RSN, and it's a packaged SPC format, that contains the entire soundtrack to a SNES game. It only works for SNES games, but there are similar plugins and players for the packaged NSF format (the extension of which escapes me at the moment).
