Where To Find FFR's Music

[BCLR]

The mods say:
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST TOPIC.

DO NOT REQUEST MP3s HERE

DO NOT POST WHERE TO FIND MP3s

LINK TO WEBSITES, NOT DIRECTLY TO FILES
Ok after seeing topic after topic I decided to make a topic and post the link to every song I know and try to get it stickied so then I won't see a least 3 different topics asking where can I find this song and where can I find that song. If you know a link please post it and I will edit my post with the link.

Much thanks to DarkProdigy for updating this list.

RE: Song From FFR not really asking but...

Classical songs are public domain, and they can surely be easily obtained using a p2p program like Limewire. And since it's public domain, it's totally not illegal to do that. YAY.

You can download a free version of limewire, but either way I guess tommorow I could download limewire again get the classic songs and some of the others and upload them somewhere and post the links.

RE: Re: RE: Song From FFR not really asking but...

Wow, how much time did you spend on that?

[zajac]

RE: Re: RE: Song From FFR not really asking but...

Bold the categories so it's easier to tell them apart... And make the song names themselves the actual links, that way the URL's don't distract the eye...

Also... Under the Possibly Soon To Come Category is UGC http://download.com/ugconcept

[Moogy]

RE: Re: RE: Song From FFR not really asking but...

i have most of the dwis to these

[chickendude]

RE: Re: RE: Song From FFR not really asking but...

aerogrooves songs can be found here

http://aerogroove.com/downloads.html

like turbulence, and go go go powerrangers, AIM Anthem etc.

evil approaches goes in misc btw

oh and rename the title to something less misleading, like 'come here for links to songs on FFR'

[soccr743]

RE: Re: RE: Song From FFR not really asking but...

Changed the title and made it a sticky. Good resource for people who want to get the music to the songs they are playing in game.

RE: Re: RE: Song From FFR not really asking but...

I did a bunch of tampering with links here. One of the big benefits to being an artist on FFR is that it's supposed to give you more exposure and drive traffic to your website. If you're directly linked to the MP3s, there's no real need for you to go visit the website. This is a big bargaining chip when I talk to record companies and artists and I don't want to lose it.

If there's a song here you want, you can still easily find it, you're just going to do it as the author of the song intended.

The exception to this rule is songs that are already in the Downloads section, I left those links alone.

-Chardish

ALSO: hosting MP3s or telling people where to get MP3s from places that are NOT the artist's website are grounds for banning.

What about the classicals? Those are public domain.

Ya, I will gladly pop him an email, see what he says, hopefully he does put the songs on his site.

<Edit>
I just sent him an email, and to be honest I am not to good as asking stuff, but mainly asked him to put the songs on his site, posted a link to this topic and told him many people would love if if he uploaded the FFr songs onto his site.
