it's all arbitrary who cares should just steal how SM scores everything because the numbers are so big there isn't any real way to analyze it

That could just be your laptop? I use a laptop as well, but I never have the issue.

I changed my key mapping to the QWERTY keyboard instead of the arrow keys(since it boosts my skills) does that have anything to do with it? cause I know you cant type two letters at the same time.

I think it really depends on the kind of laptop you are using that allows, or doesn't in your case, to hit two keys at a time. I use ASKL, and I have personally never had a problem. You could invest in getting a USB keyboard to plug into your laptop as a solution?

                  Term: Ghosting...
Ghosting is defined as the number of keys that can be pressed at once on a keyboard and is a HARDWARE limitation. If your keyboard cant even press 2 keys at once, has no anti ghosting. "Most" keyboards are 2-key anti ghosting, therefore playing ffr, jumps would work fine but hands and quads would not register correct.

My suggestion would be to look into a keyboard (maybe gaming, i use a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013) or a large amount of players seem to like the K120 by Logitech. I personally would like to get my hands on a MX Cherry Red QPad Keyboard.

Hey guys! I'm trying to transition to the R^3 engine, and I would like to know what the "accuracy" numbers mean when you right click the mods on the song result screen. Thanks.

Also is there a way to shorten the delay of / eradicate the flash behind the receptors after you hit a note (It gives the illusion of lag, which is why I never play R^3)? If not PLEASE add this simple modification!

                    Edit: I'm not alone!

Only thing that sucked was that it took a lot of messing around with the offsets to finally get it to play in sync for me. Used to use velocity and -1 offset worked for just about every song.

After like an hour of messing around I found that 0 global and .642 judge works fine for me so far. Will see if it starts messing up again.

Only things I don't understand are the custom judge window thing (where you right click in judge offset and click 'Custom judge window') and the accuracy thing where you right click on the mods on the results page after you finish a song. No idea how those work.

In theory it's your perfect judge offset, play a song you're good, and then get the accuracy number the first one without being ~ \ [] \ () I use that thing often owo

Is there anywhere we can view a live changelog, or changes that have been made since 7/26/13 that have yet to be implemented?

                        Just curious!

It does some statistical voodoo to figure out your average distance from the amazing frame. It uses that number to suggest a offset for you. The number in brackets is the calculation's margin of error, iirc.
