Concave setup is technically superior but it adds an extra reading barrier which most people would rather do without.

i picked concave setup after struggling with linear because of how natural it felt

The frame windows are too hard to see imo. On 1.8 and above, I feel like I have a better sense of where the perfect box is. On 1.75, the best I can do is play along with the music and deal with random goods.

The patterns are also really crunched together on 1.75. I actually play on that speed purposely to practice reading tight patterns, and I think it's been helping me get my (currently abysmal) FGO speed up, but I'm still experimenting with it. I'm usually on 2.0, but I think that speed's usefulness falls apart at the high FMO/low FGO barrier. FGO's are less about reaction time and more about fast reading comprehension and memory. The extra fraction of a second of warning is useful.

Actually I've found 1.75 to be very good. 2.0x was too choppy for my tastes.

It depends on how you play. 1.75x can be a little "slow" but you have time to interpret patterns better, and it's a good conversion (.25 intervals).
