I am still debating about May actually. April's subbies were unenjoyable. Btw , whocares, I dont even know who Phynx is, so I dont know how I can become like him.

With some flexibility and giving people the benefit of the doubt, another subby giveaway could be just fine without conflict. I just think that the rules of last month didn't allow you to weigh in the situation properly and left little room for good judgement. Complaints aren't made without reason, so there should be no issues if you straighten that out.

That or you can change the rules to adjust.
Such as the ability to give the sub to another person or account if both you and the person are members for longer than X and both are not subbies? I dunno, just a suggestion.

Ok, let's go back to the current rules:

1. No alts please. I WILL KNOW!
2. No one with a subscription already, is eligible for another. (sorry no extensions) I am not flexible on this, even if you are my friend.
3. First ten people to request a sub will get it, as soon as I have time to point and click the mouse. xD
4. You will post in this thread, once and only once.
5. After your subscription is over, you are eligible for the free sub again.
6. There are no reservations for next month.
7. You must be a member for at least .3 years.

The main rules that can have major issues is #1 and #7 as listed in red. All you have to do is to review the past few pages just to see why they can be an issue in the first place. Also, rule #4 is rather pointless, as it shouldn't confuse you as to who the first 10 different members are, regardless if someone posts more than once.

Your intention for placing rule #1 was to prevent people with more than one account to have subbies on both accounts, whether they used both accounts to post on the thread or whether one of the accounts had a subby already. The problems were:
- that you couldn't differentiate someone with the same ip as the same person, since more than one person could be playing ffr with different accounts on the same computer
- that you couldn't be sure that people with alt accounts use both accounts on a regular basis to take advantage of your free giveaway. Take TC_Cyrenics as an example; in this case, an alt was made because it's necessary to do so when joining a clan.

Your intention for placing rule #7 was probably to prevent, well I dunno why you implemented this one at all. Perhaps there would be no guarantee that a very new user would continue playing FFR and that subby would be kind of considered a waste? Just a guess. But still, this rule caused problems in other regards:
- people with new accounts shouldn't matter; if they're posting here, they obviously want the good life of FFR!
- people with new alt accounts. In TC_Cyrenics' case, he's technically eligible had he not switched, but he stated that the TC account would be his permanent one.

So suggestions? Revise those two rules, perhaps get rid of rule #4 too. I don't have any suggestions for new rules. All you need to do is to take each "suspicious" case into account and investigate each and every one of them, instead of rejecting all cases that don't match your rules. So not much really needs to be changed, except your will to have more insight and flexibility into potentially conflicting cases.
