Yay, happy to be back on board.

I will say that the one thing Tass does best is stuff like that--verifying permission, rejecting songs that are not appropriate for whatever reason, and other things unrelated to the direct quality of the file itself--mostly things that I don't care about/wouldn't spot, and I'm sure it's not different for blu and jx. So in that sense, this new system definitely has the potential to work even better =)

It's not really a new system. Just the old system with one more "normal" judge. I still object that Tass has unquestionable veto power, but oh well.
Still, it's a change, and its a change in the right direction, so I'm happy.

that's mostly what i'll be looking at in the next batch. and leave quality of files fully to you 3. we'll see how it turns out.

hi19: you can take my word that i'll be doing very little in terms of stopping levels because of file quality.

I'm a fan of the idea, personally. I've been planning to submit a few files, but Tass seems to hat a vendetta against me so I haven't bothered.

lol. that's a highly entertaining reason for not submitting files. 1. i don't have "vendettas" against anyone, even stargroup, rebirth, hi19, or anyone else. 2. chances are i wouldn't even play your file. 3. i don't take who stepped a file into account when i do judge files.

Welcome back Shash, having more experienced judges is always a good thing for the judgement quality at least. Let's see how the new system will work.

Probably I'm not able to do judgement quickly anymore (at most 100 files/1 month pace, but not much slower than this), so this will be the overall judgement pace when I'm involved in this system (I'm sure other judges will do faster than me, and Tass will do his work in a couple of days).

ps nothing related to this thread but my suggestion for raising the quality of files in this game, make more genres (like tourney, subscriber, legacy) and add genre select tab (like [s] button). Legacy (or whatever called) genre means blue note/low quality files, and it's the only way to "remove" low quality ingame files currently.

I like where this is going 3 judges and 1 Tass sounds so much better. Also I totally agree with the Legacy Genre, that is a brilliant idea.
