I don't experience any lag and it seems to be synced ok for me.

I gave it 5/5 because it has Tong Hua. If you know anything about Tong Hua, it's an absolutely beautiful song. I urge you guys to listen to the vocals version sometimes.

Like I said in the chat, after whoring Music catch so many times during the Omnipwn, slow piano songs are boring. Tong Hua sounds like that song which makes that song boring for me. >_<

So it's very apparent across many games that the Kongregate staff does absolutely nothing about hacked high scores.

Marcus: I absolutely love Tong Hua too. Regardless, doesn't make the game an auto 5/5. Though I did rate it a 3 instead of a 2 because of it.

I have many personal connections with that song, haha. I used to listen to it all the time when I was learning Chinese. When I met my girlfriend, she would teach me how to read the sheet music, also using Tong Hua (I could play by just memorizing the fingerings for songs, but I couldn't actually read anything at that point).

EDIT: I probably got a little too angry with my prior post. I'll just say that I wish the Kong FFR applet had keymap/speedmods -- it'd make it a far more likable game, and would likely put it on a fast track for badges/higher ratings.

Kongregate is going downhill... The games keep getting crappier and crappier, while dumb greg keeps giving out badges based on 'The crappier the game, the more badges it gets.'

Kongai will prolly get an imp badge with the requirement of getting L25 or something crazy like that.

Should that happen, we should make a pact: all the FFR members on Kongregate help eachother to get the badge by losing intentionally

OR

We could protest and start a cyberiot.

Kongregate needs to delete hacked scores, especially on games they feature on the front page. It annoys me so much that they keep a high score list, but barely any list is monitored. Are only admins allowed to delete scores? or Can the game creator or moderators delete scores too?

Rubix, I read your rant, and sadly, I have to agree with some of it. On the other hand, simple problems to some might be impossible problems for others. :/

they aren't run terribly... you guys are being overly critical. i do agree with you on some points, but since i see things a little differently than you guys, i try to see where they come from with what they do and how they do it.

this is true for basically anything... things are almost never as simple as they appear.

Well when you're used to the extremely well managed mod/admin staff of FFR, Kongregate seems like a fiasco. If you become friends with like 5 mods, you're more than likely to become one. If you're friends with every mod/admin in FFR, you probably won't ever get to be one. That just shows how selective Kongregate is when appointing their moderators.

i have no idea how the mod staff is selected on Kong... from what i've heard, it's mod recommendation and greg has the final say. so, there is going to be bias, sure. also, greg told Rubix that he thought rubix would be a good mod. I laughed so hard at that. Man, that would be a bad idea (rubix did agree with me on this too).

But, to be fair... in certain aspects, I've been known to play favorites... but, even still, i'm really happy with our staff, all around. both the long-time staffers and the ones that i've had a strong hand in appointing.

I'm glad you feel like we run a good ship here at FFR though. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Yay, warm and fuzzy Tasselfoot!

Anyways, tried F2Jam out. I gave it a 1/5 for the following reasons:

- Game's completely based off of O2Jam. There's no attempt to be unique or anything. Even the name is similar. I mean, come on, you couldn't think of a UNIQUE name?

- Only four songs? Really, come on, there has to have been some way for the game to have a good song variety. Plus, the fourth song can only be played on ThorGames. You'd think it's just some sort of unlockable song, but no, it's an exclusive song for ThorGames. I mean, if the game is for Kongregate, why not make all the songs available? It's like making a SCGMD4 with half the blasted songs.

- Graphics could've been more better, IMHO.

- I've heard that half the options don't even work, although I haven't actually checked that out.

- Weird menu navigation. I'm pretty sure there could've been a very nice menu screen, with a scrollable songs list, an options menu, and a big play button in the bottom left. But instead, you have to click left and right for the menus. Not annoying, but weird as hell.

- Did I mention that this game is like a complete rip of O2Jam?

I rest my case. I can't wait to get "your a fukin hipocryt f2jam is gud" comments on my profile. Oh, and I'm glad FFR used an unique name, instead of something like "Flash Dance Dance Revolution" or any of that bull.

That's what I was going to say. I am pretty sure he gave 5/5 on FFR. All of his arguments could be used against FFR's widget on Kongregate. xD He basically gave it a one because he's biased. :/ I gave it a 1 because I do not want it to get badges.

Why do people hate when someone takes a well-made computer/video game and makes it into a Flash game? As long as it's well made and free, you should be happy.
