    ok fine...

    Nima
    Reach
    linus
    Omegix/tsutter/fusi0n/ignite
justaguy/whiteboy if he were as accurate as he is fast
    Laggy
    emccky
    OrigamiKid
    Kamoa Han Senzui/cstarflare
    eVILPeeR/danceguy
ak0rn/talisman/motoko125/jacksonballz (I'm at the lower end of this group)

Where he is now I don't know. I beat him at anything MA related the few times we've played against each other, but he absolutely destroys me on hard stuff... so he's in the spot where I think he could get for now.

What the fuck do you think an AAA means? You're really fast?

Speed without accuracy is nothing. If someone can fucking mash blur at 1.5 that doesn't make him good; it means he can bang his keyboard mindlessly really quickly.

      p.s. you're really stupid
Couldn't you also turn it the other way around though, and say that accuracy without speed is nothing? If you're new and can somehow MA really well but can't even handle like 16ths at 200 bpm or something, where is that going to to get you? You obviously need to practice to improve your speed more from there, otherwise you'll get stuck in a hole of being able to get really high grades on easy stuff and never be able to move up... So in that case, I definitely see why speed is so important.

I would generally see more potential in someone with lots of speed than just accuracy, partly for the reason I just said. I've at least found (and like white_boy said) that accuracy is easier to improve over a shorter time than speed is, and a bit of accuracy does naturally come when you build up speed (though you may not be very accurate on the fastest stuff you can do at that point, the improved speed will probably help your accuracy on the stuff that is now easier for you.) That's just from my experience, though.

agreed... I can MA/PA stuff well that is about .3 to .5 song speed below what I would be playing speedwise... obviously varied from song to song...

Ok guys I understand that accuracy without speed is nothing, but that still doesn't make speed more important. Yes evilpeer, speed is more important to naturally have in the beginning, but that still doesn't make it more important in figuring a score's worth. When everything is said and done, your score's worth is determined by both speed and accuracy.

People are different, and you can't just say accuracy is easier to improve. Let's compare Origami and me. I remember him having more speed than I (not sure if this was true but let's just say it is). Obviously speed is easier for him to improve. I remember him having trouble with timing; more than the others on the same tier. Why wasn't he considered better than me if speed is more important than accuracy? And if accuracy is easier to improve then why hasn't he caught up to his speed? You need to have accuracy to match up with your speed to be an all-around good player, and I have no idea why you put white boy all the way up there since you don't even know his accuracy skill.

But yes, I agree with you guys in saying that speed is more important to initially have.

everyone is right =P... accuracy, speed... w/e... just play... rating how good a player is versus other people will always be subjective...

lol, and honestly I don't know who I'm faster than nowadays... since my speed hasn't improved much for a while... ever since I started working on accuracy... for point of reference, I AA snow 1.4 and VITA 1.3... which if you may remember, I was able to do a long-ass time ago as well...

and about my accuracy, IMO, my accuracy has improved IMMENSELY... since this past winter basically, my speed has flatlined, while I worked on accuracy... now, my accuracy isn't really something you can overlook... and I can hit some decently fast songs accurately too, thanks to the speed I already have... the problem for me is, I stopped working speed to work on accuracy... and a good portion of people working accuracy still keep on workign accuracy, so the range one would consider "good MA/PA" has drastically changed since when I started workign accuracy...

5 months ago, I was low SDG'ing w/ 80 perfs songs that people were getting AAA's w/ 30 perfs on... now I'm getting AAA's w/ 20 perfs on those same songs, while people are SDP'ing them... I'm still playing catch-up =/

so yeah, overall, IMO, I HAVE caught up to my speed... it just depends on what frame of reference you are looking at...

and also IMO, I suck now... a good number of people have passed my speed, and too many people are still, and always will be, more accurate than I am... the only thing I have is mines >_<

                        I said "c-modless" not "modless"

i.e. not using a c-mod for songs that change BPM all the time like Omega from TM5.

oh yeah, also to set the record straight I don't play SM on finger anymore.

Are you serious? mashing mindlessly is mashing mindelessly.

being able to read the arrows at insanely high speeds is another thing, dont get them mixed. just watch my quasar 1.9x video, a very small amount of people could probably match those cb's considering how hard they are to read at that speed, and not once did i mash if you pay attention.

                            gg.

I don't need to watch your little quasar video to see that you didn't mash. I've been playing this game for some time kid; I know how to analyze a fucking screenshot. And yeah I can tell you're getting a little too cocky and your timing still blows.

you're missing my point that without accuracy you still can't be considered good. Your accuracy pretty much blows compared to your speed so I wouldn't consider you nearly as high as talisman put you.

and gg was real cute in counter-strike 3 years ago.
