Pretty much - but look at the scoreboard, no one else can. What's the point of that? If you have a spread of like 40g - 80g on one song, it completely nullifies whatever differences in score the other five songs have.

No,
because the score is calculated by the place you have in a song versus the others, not by total raw score. I think it was '1st 10 points, 2nd 9 points, etc.' if I remember correctly.
