tl;dr - trumaestro is now my playing/scoring account, Tru for social/judge/simfile stuff

16 years with the same handle. (Insert the "profile age calculation doesn't account for leap years" post).

I've never really liked the trumaestro username. It's clunky. It stinks like the pretentious 14 year old I was when I first started using the "maestro" part of it -- immediately after we finally got home internet in 2006 and I signed up for the Insomniac Games forums.

Why "maestro" anyway? I really don't know. I don't actually have any musical ability. I played clarinet all through middle and high school but that's it.

Why "tru?" It's lifted from the TV I played my old consoles on -- a 20" RCA TruFlat. Still have it, still works. It's at least a more meaningful reference to me.

Folks have already been referring to me as "tru" or "trums"(which I think is somewhat funny but I don't want to be confused with someone with actual music ability). So I'll ..capitalize.. on this.

I'm copying a lot of people's prior name changes -- trumaestro will remain my playing/scoring/tournament account because I don't want to re-earn all these tokens and whatnot. Tru will be the name I use for everything else I do here.

So yeah,
