I don't understand...

My grandfather had passed away this morning, my boyfriend is...i dunno, switching moods? he goes from pissed off, to not caring and pissed off, to his normal self, to caring, and now i don't know what mood he's in...concerned? my emotions are so mixed up, its not even funny...yesterday i cried myself to sleep, today i woke up and cried because of my grandpa, and now i'm happy because my bf's is bein concerned again....my life's confusing >.<
