what am i to do now?

so ive been playing ffr for like almost 3 years now and im wayy up there in the ranks...but its getting really hard to get anywhere. pretty soon i might just give up on it and go back to stepmania for a while...suggestions?

   btw, when i ask "suggestions?" i mean any suggestions. songs for SM / new games to play on my crappy laptop / easier ways to get farther ahead in ffr, anything! things are getting way too monotonous for me!
