Tears Of Pain

I can't think, can't breathe, can't understand.
I'm lost, but wish to be found, for I want to know, what went wrong in this land.
We were happy, yet now we're sad, far apart, and the flame dying,
I want to feed it, I have been fedding it, but it's getting too much, and I start shying.
What went wrong? What did I do to get this? I just wanted happiness,
Maybe I'm not allowed to be happy anymore, just allowed eternal sadness.
I've wronged so much, but you made me feel like they didn't matter,
I've tried to correct them, just for you, but if it worked or not? I think the latter.
I want you to be happy, even if it means my own depressive mood,
I just want you to be as you were before, or better, I'm sorry if I seem shrewd.
I can't take it, I want to love, not to lose,
I want to smile and laugh, not cry and choose.
