For you, I strive to do better.
For you, I want to be there.
You give me purpose, and I wish to acomplish it.
You give me light, within the darkest tunnels.
Within your everlasting love I find warmth.
Within your everlasting love I find belonging.
Your soul captivates mine within it.
Your soul grips me by the chest and shows me the way.
Your words are a portal to a better life.
Your words are a gateway to a sacred realm.
An embrace between us is all I seek.
An embrace between us shows everyone what we mean.
I want to make you happy, that's all I require.
I want to keep you smiling, for if you smile, it brings joy within my own cold heart.
I don't deserve you, but you smile and say "You deserve better".
I don't deserve you, but you keep hugging me tightly saying "I don't deserve you."
I could want nothing more than you.
I don't want anyone else besides you.
You keep this sorry soul moving, knowing he has an opportunity to make another's life better.
I'm going to take this opportunity, and make sure you never have to be sad as long as I'm here.
