so tempting, so infuriating,
hurling it's wicked arms of
distrust.
hatred.
lies.

testing...slowly testing the bounds of it's forces.
so very slowly as to become nearly invisible to the human soul.
as we are humans, small oblivious humans,
we take no care in our surroundings.
only what lies ahead...nothing more.

the obvious becomes the center of our attention,
the rest outmoded,
unneeded,
untested.

we no longer test the boundaries.
and these boundaries left still,
slowly creep in.
constricting.
suffocating.
tightening.

still oblivious, as we always were,
we do not take care the world around us.


the life we were given,
such a precious unmeasureable gift,
is now taken away.

our taking for granted the special,
so, so special chance at existance
is infuriating to those of importance and higher nature.

atop their mighty pedastools,
the verdict is final.

we do not respect life,
therefore we don't deserve life.
we don't use, for better causes, our given survival,
therefore our survival is meaningless.
we don't take all aspects of the universe as miracles,
therefore nothingness is our future.

the boundaries left settled,
unscaved,
untouched,
now begin to rumble with a power never before seen.

the higher power has spoken.


it tightens the rims of reality,
slowly puncturing our pretective forces or hope,
of satisfaction,
of self indulgance.

tighter and tighter still,
the bonds of instinct are broken,
giving no direction,
no path,
no guidance to any solution.

there is little hope.
for we take the lives of those supposively held responsible,
never realizing we are all to blame.

the way we enslave each other,
those thought lesser beings than ourselves.
the way we kill for fun,
the way we put power and wealth above the love for life.

we do not deserve the life we have been given.

can this be the end?
