Civil War Day!

Ok at my school we had a fun little event that took up all except 4 periods to do. It was Civil War Day!! We took bags of flour and pelted the defending confederates to get at the flag behind their base. It was only for 8th grade and 6 and 7th had to do their regular day. We got to eat hardtack which is just water flour and salt baked into a bread type thing. Some people hated it but my friend and I loved it!(go look at my pictures to see one of it) We also got a hat that was blue or gray depending on your side. Since in the real war the north greatly out numbered the south we did the same and you can see the difference in the pictures I took. very fun stuff..
