Oh, they're just bonus points for doing really good on ultra-mega-hard songs lol - you get so many points for doing so good on a song. There's a list of reqs for certain songs and if you fill em - you get points. Pretty much just boasting rights for the pros haha.
I think right now there's gonna be a change in the tier point system - easier songs are going to be included so more people can be included in the tier point system. :)
